Description: Eon works to strengthen the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and straight ally youth community by creating social opportunities, providing information and support on health issues, advocating for GLBTQQ youth rights, and challenging society's perceptions of youth. Eon is a program of the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation, Pima County Health Department, and Wingspan. Our events and activities are free of charge and open to all youth aged 23 and under. Description: GSA's are youth-led organizations that work to create safe environments in schools for students to support each other, to educate the school community about homophobia, gender identity, and sexual orientation issues, and to fight discrimination, harrassment, and violence in schools. Description: We provide resources and support to local high school and middle school GSA (Gay- Straight Alliance) groups in Southern Arizona. We serve students aged 11 - 20 who are members of their schools' GSAs. Students, educators, and supporters are welcome. Please call for meeting times and locations. Description: Pride Alliance is one of ASUA's Programs and Services. Its purpose is to address orientation, affection, and gender issues and needs among the community at the university of Arizona and the surrounding area. This is a weekly discussion group for youth who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or who are questioning their sexuality. This facilitated group provides a safe place for people to discuss issues about sexual identity and to express feelings, thoughts, needs, and concerns about any part of their lives.
