The first night of the festival presents two premieres, showcasing works by local filmmakers. Both programs are in The Loft's downstairs theater.

Local Fare I: Laramie Inside Out

The Tucson premiere of Laramie Inside Out, a diary/documentary by Tucsonan Beverly Seckinger, which explores the aftermath of Matthew Shepard's 1998 gay-bashing murder in the her hometown of Laramie, Wyoming. Beverly will be at the screening will talk about the making of the film.

A celebration of the best in LGBT film—local, national, and international. Filmmakers Beverly Seckinger, Michael Shoel, and other special guests will be on hand.

Produced by Tucsonan Michael Shoel and filmed in the Old Pueblo, Eating Out follows the steamy, sexy escapades of three guys and a gal as they scheme to pair up.
